Off the Page Book Club
Beginning August 20th, 2025, Northwest Christian School launches the Red Letter Challenge 2025! As elementary-aged students will learn in chapel, this year's theme is video games! And, as part of a special new twist this year, Mr. Brown will be reading each chapter of the Gospels, starting with Mark 1 on Wednesday, August 20th, on the Off the Page podcast! You will have the opportunity to listen to each subsequent chapter each day...perhaps on the way to school, or at the dinner table, or the end of your day!

The "Off the Page" Book Club is a long-standing club that was formed by students at Northwest Christian High School in Phoenix, Arizona. As an offshoot of the club, the podcast will feature various hosts--faculty, students, and sometimes both--as they work through various fiction and non-fiction books and consider the topics, characters, content, and plots through the lens of a Biblical worldview.

"Raising Kids for True Greatness" - Chapter 1 - The Long and Winding Road to Greatness
Crusaders Charge into Summer Reading is Northwest Christian's annual summer reading campaign. During the summer of 2025, we're jumping -- with both feet! -- into Tim Kimmel's "Raising Kids for True Greatness - Redefining Success for Your Child". Throughout Summer 2025, swing by the school's offices to pick up a free copy and join us!
Both feet? Yes! The school's two podcasts -- Kingdom Culture Conversations and Off the Page -- are each working through the book all summer.
On Off the Page, Geoff and G are working through the book chapter-by-chapter, taking a deep dive into the ideas, concepts, and principles that will help us all, as parents, to reframe how we approach raising our kids.
Then, on Kingdom Culture Conversations, we are spending time with the "Top 10" list found at the conclusion of each chapter within the book. Specifically, we are putting those lists in front of members of the NCS faculty and community that might be able to offer insights based on their role in the school.
It's going to be a great summer full of growth! Take the time to join us!
